I use several different types of blades, depending on what I am using them for. I did try various blades of various brands over the years, but these are the ones that I liked the most and I've been using lately.
Rigid blades: for general cutting, like trimming edges, especially when applying
I use a Makins.
I used to have a Walnut Hollow. Extruding for me was this horribly taxing job that would leave my hands hurting so bad that sometimes I would need a full day to recover and be able to use them normally again. I had to hold the barrel using one of those no-slip-grip cloths and crank hard.
